The group consists of two main areas – Insurance and Banking, and Total Reward & Benefits (Pensions). The Insurance and Banking team provides consulting services to a range of financial institutions, tackling complex and analytical problems. You’ll have the choice of joining the Insurance and Banking Team, the Capital Markets Group (as part of the Insurance and Banking Team), or the Total Reward & Benefits (Pensions) team. As an actuarial analyst at Deloitte, you will be working directly with clients on a variety of projects. These could involve designing and implementing new actuarial systems, conducting risk modelling, assessing future insurance liabilities for setting premiums, or advising clients on mergers and acquisitions.

  • Work with a delivery team to and gain training in Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as training in rapid prototyping tools.
  • Receive one-to-one mentoring and support from your peers with a wide range of experience and background.
  • Help clients define their digital value proposition, conducting digital capability assessments or using your knowledge of digital trends and research to help shape the deliverables to revolutionise your clients current product or service offering.
  • Help our clients make sense of the vast quantity data generated in today’s world and use it to drive their business.
  • Help turn innovation into reality quickly by providing clients with the insights they need to make decisions fast and get projects moving from design through to development. This role is all about innovating on your feet to solve real world problems, and having the ability to translate current digital trends into tangible relevant solutions for your client.
